OneNote Class Notebooks have a personal workspace for every student, a content library for handouts and a collaboration space for lessons and creative activities. Their use allows lecturers to review student work during placement and internship, quickly and easily.
OneNote is part of Office365 that many teachers and lecturers have access to via their educational organizational account. The Class Notebook is a free add-in so any organization currently using Office365 can use this.
Each class can be combined into one notebook with each student having their own separate area that can only be seen by the student and the teacher. By utilizing this feature, lecturers and teachers can carry out many assessment tools such as requesting the student create a daily journal of tasks and learnings during placement which the teacher can see on a daily basis. They can also set quizzes and other assignments to be completed within OneNote based on the placement and/or internship key learning outcomes.
